INTERESTS
Below, you will be able to find some of my interests that have shaped my perspective on life and my career. These interests are central to who I am, and are the groundwork for my many aspirations in life.
CANVAS ART
One of my favorite pastimes is creating collages on canvases. I will often paint over the collages, as well, to create some more dimension within them. Each collage is meant to convey stories or elicit specific feelings, with most of my past works representing different aspects of my personality or reflecting the person I am in that moment.

EDM + FESTIVALS
During my time at Rutgers I had a group of friends that introduced me to the world of EDM and all it has to offer. Since then, I've become a frequent concert-goer for raves and EDM festivals. I enjoy the friendly and positive atmosphere these events provide, and am delighted by the immense talent each DJ possesses in their own unique way. It even inspired me to get a DJ board of my own, and I've since begun teaching myself how to mix music to use it as another creative outlet.
COMMISSION WORK
Using the skillset and creative style I've cultivated through my past works, I was able to craft a large scale mural within Scarlet Pub at Rutgers. Only a few months after I started bartending at the establishment, my boss trusted me to take on this project, and provided me with the tools to do so. It tells the story of Rutgers and highlights the university's rich history, diversity, and accomplishments from over the years. Aside from this mural, I've also made similar commissioned pieces on canvases for friends of mine who have requested.

STARTING A BUSINESS
In alignment with my mural for Scarlet Pub, I've also set out to start selling commissioned artworks and use that as a foundation to build a full-fledged business for myself. Building my own brand and becoming a business owner have always been dreams of mine. Back in high school, I even picked up an interest in drop-shipping, had a business name publicly notarized, and began creating a sole proprietorship. However, that project had to be put on the back burner after deciding to shift more of my focus to my college education. Ever since, I've continued to brainstorm and utilize the tools that I've picked up through my undergraduate education to apply to an actual business. Once I complete my degree and am able to start working, I plan on setting aside funds to support my entrepreneurial aspirations.
TRAVEL
Throughout my life, I've had limited access to travel through occasional trips with my family. However, some of my work opportunities have allowed me to travel and provided me with a lasting positive impact from each experience. Once I begin working, I plan on setting aside funds for traveling so that I can immerse myself in various cultures and expand my perspective on the world. It's my belief that traveling around the world and taking observations of new experiences will allow me to blossom into a more purposeful leader in the digital world. I feel this will help me so that I can effectively connect with a wider range of communities and audiences by drawing on what I learn through those experiences. Additionally, I always consider myself a student in any context, so it brings me joy to imagine traveling the world and gaining a better understanding of it and its people as a whole.
