DCIM CAPSTONE PROJECT

A PODCAST TITLED "NARRATIVE FUSION + BRAND EVOLUTION"

For my DCIM Capstone Project, I embarked on an exploration of the dynamic intersection between personal and corporate branding in the digital landscape through the means of a two-episode podcast. My thesis delves into the significance of individuals becoming the faces of their brands and the consequential impact on the overall perception of the company. This project represents the culmination of my DCIM studies, weaving together elements of coursework, vigorous research, and practical insights gained throughout the program. By dissecting real-world examples in the worlds of podcasting and fashion, I illuminate the significant and evolving landscape of personal branding. Through a two-episode podcast, I trace the historical trajectory of this phenomenon, exploring its successes, failures, and transformative effects on industries. The project serves as a comprehensive exploration of the power dynamics at play when individuals leverage their identity to strengthen corporate brands, connecting theory to the practical realities of the contemporary digital age.
